Man rushed to hospital with stab wounds after incident in North London

A man was rushed to hospital with “stab wounds” on Sunday night, the Metropolitan Police have confirmed. The force was called to Warwick Road in north London just before 5.20pm on Sunday.

The police were assisted by London Air Ambulance crew and the London Ambulance Service.

Met Police could not confirm the extent of the man’s injuries, but his next of kin have been notified.

The area remains a crime scene, and tere have been no arrests.

Anyone with any information relating to the incident is urged to contact the police.

The full statement from the Met Police read: “Police were called at 17:18hrs on Sunday, 2 October to reports of a stabbing in Warwick Road, N18. 

“Officers attended along with the London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance.

“A man was taken to hospital with stab wounds. We await an update on his condition.

“His next of kin has been informed. 

“A crime scene remains in place and enquiries are ongoing. There have been no arrests. 

“Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call 101 quoting CAD 4990/02Oct. To remain anonymous contact the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
