Kate Middleton mystery: Duchess missing from Cambridge family photo leaving fans baffled

The Army in London tweeted a photograph to mark the sixth birthday of Prince George. The photo shows George, Prince Louis in the arms of Prince William, Princess Charlotte as well as Domhnall, the Wolfhound mascot of the Irish Guards. Hello! claimed the photo was taken at the recent charity polo match featuring William and brother Prince Harry.

Kate was at the event, so royal fans have questioned why she was not in the photograph.

According to International Business Times, one Twitter user asked: “Did the Duchess of Cambridge take this photo?”

Kate has had photographs she has taken shared on the Cambridge’s Instagram account in the past.

Other fans were distracted by the appearance of William and Kate’s children, however.

A user wrote: “Louis’s facial expression is too funny.

“He’s so not feeling this photo.”

Another summarised: “Loving the three separate reactions.

“George behaves by looking at the camera, Louis pouts as if to say ‘get that damn camera out of my face’ and Charlotte doesn’t care because there’s a dog.”

Kate and William met at university and got married in 2011.

George was their first child and is third in the line of succession to the throne behind Prince Charles and William.

Charlotte was their second child and only daughter so far, being born on May 2nd 2015.

Louis is the youngest of the Cambridge children, having been born on April 23 last year, on St. George’s Day.
