Kate Middleton and her children’s adorable present for Prince William – REVEALED

Crafty Kate teamed up with Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis to create a scrapbook filled with the family’s memories for the Duke of Cambridge’s birthday, an insider said. The thoughtful handmade present featured the children’s drawings, collages, prints and pictures of the whole family, the source explained, and its meant to remind the future king of what really matters in life.

The insider told The Sun newspaper: “Kate and the children have been compiling a large album of the children’s paintings, drawings and collages and prints.

“They reflect what they have been doing over the past year.

“You can look at any event they were involved with as a family and there will probably be a picture, drawing, print or photo.

“It’s taken a great deal of time and effort to make, and as a present, it means something.

“You could say it’s a reminder to William about what is really important.

“It’s been put together with a great deal of care.”

The present, which took a long time to be completed, was kept hidden from Prince William at Pippa Middleton’s home, it has also been claimed.

Prince William’s birthday, which fell on June 21, was celebrated online by members of the Royal Family closest to the second in line to the throne.

Prince Charles’s Instagram account, Clarence House, published a touching black-and-white picture of father and son playing on a swing.

The Royal Family’s official account, handled by the PR staff at Buckingham Palace, released a collage of images showing Queen Elizabeth II and her grandson William, adding “Happy Birthday to The Duke of Cambridge!#HappyBirthdayHRH”.

And the official Instagram account of the Cambridges, Kensington Palace, shared a new picture of the prince taken during a visit to the Mkomazi Rhino Sanctuary in Tanzania.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry also wished a happy birthday to Prince William, but their message was heavily criticised by some royal fans for being too “cold”.

The pair commented under the Kensington Palace’s picture by simply writing: “Happy Birthday to The Duke of Cambridge!”

This formal tone seemed in stark contrast with recent and more light-hearted birthday messages left by the couple to other members of the Royal Family, including Prince Philip and the Queen.

One social media user wrote: “@sussexroyal well well well, what a cold happy birthday”

Another wrote: “@sussexroyal doesn’t sound like you wanna wish him at all.”

A third added: “@sussexroyal wouldn’t Wishing your brother be more gentle.

“This reads like there is hostility.”
