The Prince and Princess of Wales have arrived at Boston Celtics’ TD Garden as the 17-time NBA champions take on Miami Heat.

William and Kate’s visit comes during their three-day visit to the United States.

Their trip will centre on the second annual Earthshot Prize Awards Ceremony.

Earthshot is Prince William’s £50million initiative which hopes to encourage people to bring forward ideas which look to tackle climate change and other pressing environmental crises over the next decade.

Confirming the couple’s attendance at TD Garden, the Duke and Duchess’ official Twitter account uploaded an image from the arena which was accompanied by a caption which said: “Let’s go Celtics, let’s go!”
