Grisly details emerge after Britain’s worst paedophile strangled to death in prison

Richard Huckle was given 22 life sentences at the Old Bailey in 2016 for 71 offences against children aged between six months and 12 years. The 33-year-old, from Ashford in Kent, gave himself “Pedopoints” for different acts of abuse against 191 young people. He also sold thousands of images of his acts on the dark web.

Huckle was found dead at HMP Full Sutton in Yorkshire on October 13 last year.

According to a source who spoke to the Sun, the paedophile was strangled.

The source added condoms and biros were then shoved down his throat.

On Monday, a 29-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of Huckle’s murder.

Police said: “A man has been arrested in connection with the death of a man at HMP Full Sutton on October 13, 2019.

“A file has been submitted to the Crown Prosecution Service and we are awaiting their decision regarding charges.”

Before he was arrested, Huckle boasted it was easier to target children living in poverty in Malaysia than children from wealthy Western backgrounds.

He was finally arrested in 2014 when he was stopped at Gatwick Airport on his way to spend Christmas with his family.

Australian authorities had tipped off the UK’s National Crime Agency.

At the time of his arrest, he was also writing a guide to teach other paedophiles how to abuse children and avoid getting caught.

Police seized his encrypted laptop and uncovered more than 20,000 indecent pictures and videos.

However, there were other files they were still unable to get into.

Huckle was a former member of a baptist church in Ashford and allegedly used his religion as a “stepping stone” for grooming children in a Christian community.
