A moment to capture the hearts of everyone watching was when the young Prince jumped in the air and hugged his parents as Shaw scored a goal for England. While the whole nation was delighted with the success for the Three Lions, George, seven, looked as though he would remember the moment forever.

His relatable facial reactions caused many to laugh on social media, but the moment he gave a hug to his parents, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, is the highlight.

Following England’s goal, cameras flashed to the Royals who jumped in the air. George turned to Prince William, gave him a hug then turned to the Duchess of Cambridge.

The hug was a rare Royal show of affection and many found it cute how relatable the family was.

“One of the sweetest royal moments ever!” one fan wrote on Twitter.
