Family hunting for man who pooed on their new car

A ‘horrified’ family have released video footage of the moment a stranger defecated on the roof of their new car.

Kirk Petrakis, 42, and wife Hannah, 35, were ‘disgusted’ when they discovered a huge pile of excrement on their Honda Jazz on 1 September.

When they checked their home CCTV, their worst fears were confirmed.

They saw two men laughing as one filmed the other climbing on top of the vehicle, crouching down and defecating at just after 5am that morning.

The couple claimed their two daughters are now ‘too scared to sleep’ in their own bedrooms after the incident and have demanded an apology from the two men responsible.

Kirk, who bought the car a month ago, said: ‘We don’t know what’s going on in their minds but it’s disgusting. I’ve seen some things out there on social media but this is just unbelievable.

‘I’m horrified and so frustrated by the way things keep getting worse and worse. My poor little daughters are too scared to sleep in their bedroom now.

‘We heard a noise out in the street and then we thought my seven-year-old daughter was having a nightmare at first.

‘She said somebody was standing on the roof outside her bedroom and we thought she meant the flat roof – we looked out and couldn’t see anything.

‘Then in the morning we found this huge human poo on the roof of our car – which was parked right outside the kids’ bedroom window.’

Kirk and Hannah run a horse-drawn carriage company in Torquay, Devon and installed CCTV after hearing news about a string of random acts of violence in the road earlier this year.

But Kirk said he was ‘speechless’ when he filmed the disgusting act.

He said: ‘My wife cleaned it off and then I played the CCTV back and you can see what they did clearly.

‘He stands up and pees on the car as well. He did everything. I was just speechless.

‘We have given the footage to the police. I want an apology. I want them to be named. I want them to pay for the work to get our new car fixed.’

Devon and Cornwall Police are currently investigating the incident.

They told metro.co.uk: ‘An incident of criminal damage to a car on Upton hill on Sunday 1 September has been reported and is being investigated by police.

‘Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101 quoting CR/079275/19.’
