Baby Archie photos: Meghan shares a rare new picture of the family for Harry’s birthday

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been careful to keep their son’s life as private as possible since his birth in May. Little Archie Harrison skipped the royal tradition of being presented to the world on the day of his birth, and his christening was kept far more private than other royal baby’s. But it seems Harry’s wife couldn’t resist the opportunity to show off her little family today.

Meghan posted a sweet tribute to her husband on Instagram, with a caption that said how much he “inspires me every day”.

She wrote that Harry was the “best husband and most amazing dad to our son”, and said, “We love you”.

Accompanying the post was a collage of nine photographs, ranging from Prince Harry as a baby, throughout his younger years, a wedding picture of the couple’s, and an unseen picture from Archie’s christening.

The picture shows Meghan sitting on a sofa with Archie on her lap.

Harry is on his hatches in front of them, with his hands around Meghan’s legs.

The proud parents are beaming at their son, and Archie looks alert and like he might be making some baby noises for his doting parents to coo over.

Royal fans were delighted with the rare picture.

One wrote: “That is so beautiful”, and another: “That message and the collage made me well up!”

Prince William and Kate, Duchess of Cambridge, have also taken to Instagram to wish Harry a happy birthday.

They wrote: “Wishing a very happy birthday to The Duke of Sussex today!”, accompanied by a picture of William and Harry on Harry’s wedding day.

The Queen and Prince Philip also wished Harry many on their own social media page.

The proud grandparents chose a sweet picture of the monarch beaming with joy while chatting to Harry.

They wrote in the caption: “Happy Birthday to The Duke of Sussex – 35 today!”

Prince Charles and Camilla shared photos on the Clarence House Instagram page of himself with Harry, and wrote: “Wishing a very Happy Birthday to The Duke of Sussex who turns 35 today!”

The official plans for Harry’s birthday have not been made public, which means the family is likely to be celebrating at home with loved ones.

The family will soon embark on their first international tour, heading to Africa on Monday, September 23.

The couple said they were excited for their “first official tour as a family”.
