Shelter management said they reviewed video surveillance footage and reported an animal theft to local law enforcement.

SPCA said it prioritizes responsible pet ownership and anyone interested in adopting an animal must complete a thorough adoption application and be approved.

Eleven animals have gone missing from the shelter since Jan. 1, 2014.

Captain Crunch is around 16 weeks old, 1.2 kilograms, and is a light brown and white, medium-to-long hair tabby. He is implanted with PetLink brand microchip #981020029718612.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Saskatoon SPCA at 306-374-7387.
