Dad ‘killed his wife and four kids before storing bodies for several weeks’

A man allegedly killed his wife and four young children before storing their bodies for weeks and eventually dumping them in a different state.

Police issued a warrant for the arrest of Michael Jones Jnr after the body of his wife Casei Jones was found on Sunday.

The bodies of her four children Aiyana, one; Mercalli Jones, two; Preston, five; and Cameron Bowers, 10, were discovered by authorities a few hours later near Brantley County in Georgia.

Officials located Jones Jnr after a warrant was issued for his arrest for second degree homicide.

Marion County Sheriff Billy Woods said police questioned him after Casei's body was found and he led them to the remains of the four children.

Police say the family were killed in Florida where their bodies were stored for weeks before being moved across the border into Georgia.

Details of the murders have not yet been released.

Police say more charges will soon be filed against Jones Jnr.

Casei and her children had only been reported on Saturday but her family had not heard from them for around six weeks.

Before Casei's body was found, her mother Nikki told Fox35 : "I've never ever been so scared.

"They don't know where she's at. They went to the house and she's gone. The house is empty.
