South Africa: Inequality still high years after apartheid

Twenty-five years after South Africa became a democracy, many are frustrated with the lack of jobs, land and poor housing.

    South Africans will vote on Wednesday in a general election – the sixth since the end of apartheid in 1994.

    The African National Congress has won every vote, but its popularity has declined.

    Many are fed up with the poverty gap and unemployment, which has increased.

    Al Jazeera’s Malcolm Webb reports from Johannesburg.
