David Walliams sells £5.35m London home after buying it for £3.25m

Someone’s got a talent for property! BGT judge David Williams nets a £2m profit on his London home – dubbed Supernova Heights when Noel Gallagher lived there – after renovating and selling it on for £5.35million

David Walliams has bagged himself a £2million profit on the London home he shared with his ex-wife, which was once home to Noel Gallagher and his wild house parties.

The Britain’s Got Talent judge, 46, bought the three-bedroom townhouse in Belsize Park, north London in 2005 and lived there with his ex-wife Lara Stone, 35, and their son Alfred, five.

It cost him £3.25million at the time, but 14 years on after large-scale renovations it has sold for £5.35million.

The plush pad, which boasts a roof terrace and floor-to-ceiling windows, used to belong to Oasis star Noel, 51, who named it Supernova Heights after the final song on the album What’s The Story Morning Glory, which made the band millions of pounds.

He sold it to David Beckham’s best friend Dave Gardner and relocated to Buckinghamshire with his then-wife Meg Mathews in 1999.    

The five-storey Victorian home boasts a stylish living area, an extensive garden, and private parking. 

There is also a huge open-plan bathroom with a large cast stone bath. Former neighbours in the trendy NW3 postcode have included Sadie Frost and Bob Hoskins.

When Walliams bought it more than a decade ago he knocked down some of the walls and transformed it from a four to a three-bedroom property. 

He removed ceilings and floors to create double and triple storey spaces within the house, as well as renovating the exterior.  

The Little Britain comedian is estimated to be worth £25million and he is thought to have pocketed £1million judging the latest run of Britain’s Got Talent. The new series will start on ITV next month.
