Halle Berry is showing off a new accessory.

The Oscar-winning actress, 52, took to Instagram on Monday to show off what appears to be a vine tattoo that reaches from the base of her back to her nape.

Berry flaunts the art while in her kitchen wearing a sequin dress with no top. Perhaps in a breakfast mood, Berry holds an egg with her left hand and frying pan with her right.

“Who says I’m not a mermaid,” the star captioned the snap.

It’s unclear if the body art is a permanent addition or for a film, but fans can’t get enough.

“Only Halle Berry and a select few other women could pull off not only the tattoo but working over a stove in THOSE PANTS!?” one person expressed. “You’re a beautiful mermaid and the hottest Cat Woman.. grrrrr.. your [sic] gorgeous Halle,” raved another follower.

Two weeks ago, Lady Gaga got a similar back tattoo. Hers was in inspired by “A Star Is Born” and features a rose with thorns down the stem. The words “la vie en rose” are written out along the flower.

A rep for Berry did not immediately return a request for comment.
