Royal wedding 2019: Will Prince George and Princess Charlotte be pageboy and flower girl?

Lady Gabriella Windsor will marry Thomas Kingston in a lavish ceremony at St George’s Chapel on Saturday. There are several senior royals expected to attend, including the Queen. The ceremony is taking place in the same church in which Meghan Markle and Prince Harry and Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank married.

Will Prince George and Princess Charlotte be page boy and flower girl at the wedding?

The full guest list of the wedding is not known, however, it is thought Pippa Middleton and her husband James Matthews are among attendees.

This is because Pippa and James invited Lady Gabriella and her fiancé Thomas to their wedding in 2017.

Also on the list of potential guests are Kate Middleton and Prince William.

Their children, Prince George, five, Princess Charlotte, four, and Prince Louis, one, may also accompany them to the wedding.

It is not known whether George and Charlotte will play an integral role in the ceremony as pageboy and bridesmaid.

If they have been chosen, they would play their part well as the little Cambridges are no stranger to weddings.

George and Charlotte have been pageboy and bridesmaid at a number of weddings, including their aunt Pippa’s wedding, and uncle Prince Harry’s wedding.

Pippa Middleton married James Matthews in May 2017, and George and Charlotte had important roles on the big day.

Then in September, George and Charlotte again starred as pageboy and bridesmaid at a close friend of their mother’s wedding.

Kate’s good friend Sophie Carter married Robert Snuggs on September 20, 2018 at St Andrew’s Episcopal Church in Norfolk.

They reprised their roles a year later on May 19, 2018, at Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s wedding.

Most recently they played their part again as pageboy and bridesmaid at Princess Eugenie’s wedding to Jack Brooksbank in October.

The brother and sister duo seemed at ease in front of the crowds at Eugenie’s wedding, with Charlotte even waving to the fans gathered in the grounds of St George’s Chapel.

There is also likely to be fewer crowds as Lady Gabriella’s wedding is a much more understated affair than the Sussex’s or Princess Eugenie’s.

The wedding will not be televised, and there will be no procession around the town of Windsor.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are also unlikely to attend Lady Gabriella’s wedding, as they have newborn Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor to care for.
